The beginning Internet  (web) was in the 60. In the middle of the cold war United States created a network for exclusive military purposes, to get information from everywhere in the country trough this Internet network in case of attack. Internet was born in 1969, and was named Arpanet.. 
It had 4 computers in different University centers all along the Usa. Two years later, the computers were 40. It grew up very fast and the Internet needed most resources everyday. Here born the TCP/IP protocol, today standard in communications between computers.
ARPANET  followed growing more and more and also opening itself to the world and everyone with academic or investigation and research willing had access to Internet, this network called Arpanet.
